Amnanda

Touching Minds

The Amnanda programme of therapies and curriculum of courses is a holistic and profoundly transformative path rooted in a Tibetan lineage of Ayurvedic wisdom. Its primary aim is to guide you towards a life of contentment, vitality and clarity by developing self-awareness, compassionate curiosity and positive mind-body health. Central to this programme is Amnanda, meaning “path of joy” a therapeutic process developed by Ayurvedic master Baba Ramdas Swami to release the effects of stress, strengthen health and promote longevity. The path of Amnanda supports freedom from the conditioning, imprints and effects of adverse experiences that create limitations in your decision-making, self-determination and relationships. The power of touch is key in all the therapeutic processes, integrating healing both on a physical plane and as a bridge between body and spiritual consciousness. Within Ayurveda human life is not considered separate to the natural world but interconnected, an embodied macrocosm of a larger field of consciousness.  The Amnanda path deepens your perception and felt sense of the connection, reawakening intuitive intelligence and conscious interaction with all of life.

The Amnanda Process is an Ayurvedic ‘rasayana’ or revitalising therapy and is a profound process of revitalization that acts holistically at the levels of body, brain and mind. Amnanda means "the path to joy" and the treatments help ease the negative effects of stress and challenging experiences at the level of cell memory. Amnanda Process is a therapeutic program of 12 monthly relaxing oil treatments developed from a Tibetan tradition of Ayurveda. It is a journey that unfolds over the year - releasing stress held in different areas of the body and at deeper levels with each successive treatment. The combination of touch, herbal oils and compassionate presence initiate a felt sense of safety, restorative peace and embodiment. The rejuvenation process is also supported with green tea, herbal tea and tinctures. Healing begins with the first treatment and the range of benefits clients’ experience include: improved digestion, deeper sleep, less sensitivity to noise, resilience to pressure, improved sensory health, renewed curiosity, sense of purpose, improvement in communication and relationships.

Moksha is an Ayurvedic oil treatment that uses the energy of healing touch to help create more freedom in your life – to free you from blocks and self-limiting behaviour patterns. Do you have dreams and ideas but find it hard to take action to make them happen? You have the interest and motivation but when it comes to the decision you lose confidence or find it easier to take the usual path. Blocks can arise from your imprints, conditioning and life experiences. Blocks also influence your communication – in your relationships with others but also physically, manifesting as blocks in your physiological pathways for health. For example, communication at the level of your microbiome or neural pathways.

The Moksha treatment uses very light touch which triggers the production of hormones and neurotransmitters to influence metabolism through the interrelation of body and mind. This push of the metabolism also creates a stronger motivation for self-determination. The inner feeling created within the treatment produces positive conditioning and release from self-limiting beliefs. Your entire body apart from your arms is anointed with a special herbal oil producing a profound state of relaxation which clients often describe as feeling sacred or a deep connection with life. Moksha is a minimum of 6 treatments given a month apart. Please note I only provide Moksha for female clients, aged 22 and over.
